We know that returning to work or settling into a new childcare role requires a setting that feels like a community. While you do not need formal childcare certificates to thrive here, we do require a foundation of at least 3 months of experience in a nursery. If you bring a brilliant attitude, a natural warmth with children, and a desire to grow, we will provide the welcoming environment you need to build your confidence!

The Friendly Assistant We Are Looking For:

We are seeking approachable, high-energy individuals who genuinely want to make a positive impact on young children's lives. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and warm personality are exactly what we need to help the playroom shine.

What your day will look like:

• Bringing a burst of positive energy to the room to ensure children feel safe, happy, and excited to explore.

• Diving straight into the fun! You will get involved in messy sensory play, read engaging stories, and encourage outdoor garden adventures.

• Supporting the natural flow of the nursery day, which includes helping to set up learning stations, assisting at mealtimes, and keeping the environment tidy.

• Greeting parents and carers with a friendly smile at drop-off and pick-up times.

• Working closely alongside qualified practitioners who will gladly share their expertise, support your daily tasks, and show you the ropes.

What you need to bring with you:

• A Little Experience: You must have a minimum of 3 months of previous practical experience working within a nursery environment.

• No Formal Qualifications Required: You do not need a Level 2 or Level 3 certificate for this role—just a genuine passion for early years care and your practical background!

• The Right Attitude: A positive, eager-to-learn mindset. Whether you are building on your early career or stepping back into the workplace, your enthusiasm is your greatest asset.

• Team Spirit: A highly collaborative approach and a willingness to help out wherever you are needed most.

• Safety First: A strict commitment to safeguarding and protecting the children in your care. (Please note: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position).
