We are working with a wonderful nursery in SW20, and they are looking for a dedicated Third in Charge to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a highly supportive, "Good" Ofsted-rated setting that truly values outdoor adventures—complete with all-weather gardens, Forest School sessions, and specialized activities like Teddy Tennis and Boogie Mites!

The Caring Leadership We Need:

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive leader who knows the EYFS inside out and loves creating a fun, engaging environment while guiding a team.

What you will be doing:

• Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring practice and provision perfectly meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Supporting, supervising, and deploying playroom staff appropriately with their day-to-day duties to maintain required standards.

• Ensuring the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and allocating children to keycarers appropriately.

• Building open, positive working relationships with staff, and ensuring everyone maintains friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

• Providing professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child, while positively promoting the nursery to current and potential customers.

• The Right Leadership: Strong early years experience and a deeply nurturing personality, with a readiness to step up, lead by example, and support your team.
