THE MANDATORY ASSIGNMENT (REQUIREMENTS)

To ensure we get you placed into our partner nurseries rapidly, candidates must provide:

• References: Contact details for two professional referees available for immediate contact.

• Background Clearance: A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

• Immediate Availability: Once verified, you will be matched with local partner nurseries immediately.

THE QUALIFICATION BENCHMARK

• Qualified Status: Must hold a "Full & Relevant" Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, EYE). Note: Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not satisfy statutory nursery ratio requirements.

• Unqualified Status: Applicants without childcare-specific qualifications must demonstrate a minimum of 3 months of recent, verifiable experience in a private nursery environment.

• 2025 Statutory Standard: All ratio-counted practitioners must possess a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate or show immediate willingness to undergo the training.
