Billing Sales Manager / Recruitment Team Leader (Temps)

Nexter is an independent, fast-growing temporary staffing agency supplying early years nurseries and schools. We have solid systems, experienced coordinators handling the bookings, and a steady stream of shifts.

What we need now is a proven, phone-friendly recruiter who simply loves opening doors, winning clients, and getting desks off the ground.

The Role: Build It, Hand It Over, Repeat

We are not looking for someone to sit in meetings or fiddle with spreadsheets all day. This role is about doing what great recruiters do best: getting on the phone, building relationships with nursery managers and owners, and getting a desk buzzing.

• Open Up New Areas: Pick up the phone, speak to local nurseries, and get them booking their supply staff with us.

• Lead by Example: Show newer colleagues how it’s done by making calls, overcoming hesitations, and keeping the energy high on the floor.

• No Admin Traps: Once you win the business, our delivery team handles the booking details, candidate compliance, and day-to-day shift filling so you stay focused on business development.

• Hand Over and Move On: The goal is straightforward—get a desk up to around £10k a month in gross profit, hand the day-to-day running over to a dedicated coordinator, bank a handover bonus, and move on to launch the next region.

Who We’re Looking For

• You have a proven track record running a busy, fast-paced temps desk (Early Years, Education, Care, or Commercial temps).

• You are genuinely happy picking up the phone and introducing yourself to new clients.

• You want to see the direct financial reward for the revenue you bring in.

• You are friendly, practical, and happy to share tips with less experienced colleagues by letting them hear you in action.

• £35k – £45k basic salary based on your billing history.

• Generous personal commission on everything you bill.

• Handover bonuses & trailing income: when you build a desk to a healthy level and pass the day-to-day running to a coordinator, you get a completion bonus and keep earning an override on that desk while you start your next one.
