Level 3 Early Years Practitioner- Term Time only 30 hours

A Morley Nursery is looking to recruit a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly nursery team.

They are a small, warm and nurturing setting with a home-from-home approach and are looking for someone who will become a valued and committed member of the team.

Working Hours

• Monday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  
• Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  
• Thursday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
  
• Term time only
  
• £13.50 per hour
  

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS
  
• Act as a key person and build positive relationships with children and families
  
• Support children’s individual development and next steps
  
• Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate experiences
  
• Support children’s personal care, mealtimes and daily routines
  
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment
  
• Follow all nursery safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures
  
• Work closely with the room team and nursery management
  
• Contribute positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery

Requirements

Essential Requirements

Candidates must:

• Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
  
• Have experience working within an early years or nursery setting
  
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS
  
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  
• Be caring, nurturing, reliable and professional
  
• Work effectively as part of a team
  
• Have good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
  
• Be confident supporting children’s individual learning and development
  
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check, including the appropriate children’s barred list check, before commencing unsupervised work with children
