"We have been using Nexter for early years staff cover since they opened, and couldn’t rate them highly enough.

Reliable, consistent, and excellent communication - having used lots of well known agencies over the years, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of service provided by Nexter, especially in the personable, partnership-focused approach; Nick, Emma and the team have taken the time to get to know our setting, and we never feel like we are just another setting on the list.

I have been impressed by Nexter’s high expectations for their candidates, which unfortunately in my experience with other agencies, isn’t always the case. Nexter genuinely value feedback on their candidates, and use this feedback in supporting and developing them, which results in a much more positive experience for all involved.

I have full confidence in Nexter’s safeguarding procedures and safe recruitment processes. As an early years setting, using agency cover is often stressful in itself - it often means that we are dealing with last minute staff absences and a nationwide recruitment crisis, but Nexter take away a huge amount of the pressure, and are always our first call in a disaster.

I especially appreciate their out of hours service, which means that when that dreaded message comes through in the evening, I’m not left overnight worrying about whether we are stuck the next day, and can organise cover instantly, with a quick phone call, email or even WhatsApp message.

In addition to this, we have recruited permanent staff through Nexter, and found the process to be smooth and efficient, and good value, especially compared to other recruitment messages - whilst the cost of recruitment through any agency initially seems high for an individual setting, Nexter take a lot of the hard work and doubt out of the process, which is worth it in the long run, and saves a lot of wasted time, which when recruiting, we simply don’t have.
