Documents required to register for nursery work
Before the interview we'll need the following full documents (no missing or cut off parts) to our system by clicking HERE
- Qualification and training certificates.
- Current, full Paediatric First Aid certificate (required for people who qualified level 2 or above after 2014)
- Current safeguarding certificate
- Passport (plus any required visa documents).
- National Insurance proof (NI card, P45, P60 or benefits letter).
- 2 address proof (all less than 2 months old).
- Proof of bank details - eg a bank statement.
- Up to date CV - please ensure this shows your most recent jobs / training or employment gaps.
- Current DBS (please note: if your current DBS is not live on the update service then we will need to process a new Enhanced DBS).
- 5 year work & address history with dates.
Some organisations require that we show proof of your authorisation to issue references. Please complete the reference authorisation form HERE.
Please make sure you also bring the documents to interview as we will need to see the originals on camera.
Please make sure you’re in a quiet private space and your phone, tablet or laptop is on a stable surface.
The interview is informal but please wear presentable clothing as the meeting is recorded for our records and will take a picture for your ID badge.
Please contact your referees ASAP to ask them to complete the email reference we will be sending them.
Lastly, before your interview, please brush up on the EYFS by watching this video. Feel free to explore that channel as it has lots of useful information about nurseries.
If you are qualified Level 2 or 3 and your safeguarding or Paediatric First Aid certificates are out of date, please book a new course ASAP.
