We are looking for a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant Toddler Room, helping children navigate their fast-paced physical development, growing independence, and boundless curiosity.

We have partnered with a fantastic, purpose-built nursery in West Finchley (N3). This fantastic setting features four large rooms tailored to each age group, but toddlers especially love getting creative in the dedicated visual arts studio and exploring the lovely outdoor space! You will be delivering an engaging curriculum—bringing unique education programs like 'Make & Bake', 'Sow & Grow', and 'Innovate & Investigate' to life—alongside Spanish lessons, calming yoga in the sensory room, and exciting local outings to the library and nearby parks.

The Caring Practitioner We Need:

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Practitioner who understands the EYFS inside out and knows how to keep up with active toddlers while cultivating a safe, stimulating, and high-quality environment.

What you will be doing:

• Promoting exceptional standards of quality within the toddler room to ensure an inspiring learning environment.

• Supporting and assisting with the supervision of playroom staff and their day-to-day duties.

• Ensuring the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and appropriately allocating children to keycarers.

• Guaranteeing that practice and provision within your room perfectly meets the exact requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Providing professional, relevant, and engaging feedback to parents and carers about their toddler's energetic day and developmental milestones.

• Positively promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers.

• Developing open, positive working relationships with your team, and ensuring all colleagues maintain friendly, professional relationships with families.
  
  

What you must bring to the room:

• The Right Experience: Early years experience (ideally with the toddler age group), a deeply nurturing but fun-loving personality, and a readiness to get hands-on with daily care, creative play, and early learning.

• Safety First: A strict commitment to following company policies and safeguarding procedures. (Please note: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role).
