Are you a gentle, dedicated early years professional with a special place in your heart for babies? We are searching for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a wonderful Baby Room, providing a warm, comforting environment where our littlest learners can safely take their very first steps into discovering the world.

We have partnered with a stunning, modern, purpose-built nursery in West Finchley (N3). This fantastic setting is designed to inspire, featuring four spacious rooms, a dedicated visual arts studio, and a tranquil sensory room that is an absolute haven of calm for our babies to unwind in. You will be delivering a wonderfully rich curriculum—including unique programs like 'Move & Groove' and 'Health & Self'—alongside baby yoga, Spanish lessons, and lovely local outings to the library and nearby parks.

The Caring Practitioner We Need:

We are looking for a proactive, affectionate Practitioner who understands the EYFS inside out, specifically for our youngest children, and knows how to cultivate a stimulating, safe, and high-quality environment.

What you will be doing:

• Promoting exceptional standards of quality within the baby room to ensure an inspiring, safe learning environment.

• Supporting and assisting with the supervision of playroom staff and their day-to-day duties, ensuring staff are deployed appropriately so required standards are consistently delivered.

• Ensuring the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and appropriately allocating children to keycarers.

• Guaranteeing that practice and provision within your room perfectly meets the exact requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Providing professional, relevant, and reassuring feedback to parents and carers about their baby's daily routine and progress.

• Positively promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers.

• Developing open, positive working relationships with your team, and ensuring all colleagues maintain friendly, professional relationships with families.
  
  

What you must bring to the room:

• The Right Experience: Early years experience (ideally with babies or toddlers), a deeply nurturing personality, and a readiness to get hands-on with daily care, sensory play, and early learning.

• Safety First: A strict commitment to following company policies and safeguarding procedures. (Please note: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role).
