Are you a passionate and dedicated early years professional eager to help children build strong social and emotional foundations? We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to bring vibrant energy to a deeply caring setting where holistic development is the top priority.

We are delighted to be working with a fantastic nursery located in Anerley (SE20). This beautiful setting features four spacious, age-specific playrooms—from the soft, cosy baby room all the way through to the school-ready preschool. Children also get to enjoy year-round outdoor play in a fantastic, three-section courtyard garden fully equipped with canopies and shelters!

Commuting is an absolute breeze: Anerley Train Station is conveniently situated directly across the road, the local bus station is a mere 2-3 minute walk away, and off-street parking is available. The Caring Educator We Need:

We are searching for a highly capable, driven Educator who knows the EYFS inside and out, and is ready to step up, guide the room, and deliver exceptional early years provision.

What you will be doing:

  • Promoting excellent standards of quality across the nursery to maintain a safe, enriching environment.

  • Supporting and supervising fellow playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.

  • Deploying team members appropriately to ensure high standards are consistently delivered and maintained within the rooms.

  • Ensuring the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures, making sure children are allocated appropriately.

  • Ensuring all daily practice and provision strictly aligns with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Providing highly professional and relevant feedback to parents and carers regarding their child's daily routines and development.

  • Actively promoting the nursery's excellent reputation to current parents and prospective families.

  • Cultivating open, positive working relationships with your colleagues, and ensuring the whole team maintains friendly, professional bonds with parents and carers.

     

What you must bring to the room:

  • The Right Experience: A deeply nurturing personality, robust EYFS knowledge, and the confidence to support and guide colleagues while delivering outstanding childcare.

  • Safety First: A strict commitment to following company policies and safeguarding procedures. (Please note: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role).
