We are working with a fantastic, proudly "Outstanding" Ofsted-rated nursery in Surbiton (KT6), and they are looking for a dedicated Third in Charge to join their team on a permanent basis. The Caring Leadership We Need:

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive leader who knows the EYFS inside out and loves creating a rich, stimulating environment while guiding a team to success.

What you will be doing:

  • Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery to ensure an exceptional environment.

  • Supporting, supervising, and appropriately deploying playroom staff with their day-to-day duties to ensure required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.

  • Ensuring the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocating children to keycarers appropriately.

  • Ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery perfectly meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Developing open and positive working relationships with staff, and ensuring that all staff maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

  • Providing professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child, while positively promoting the nursery to current and potential customers.

What you must bring to the room:

  • The Right Leadership: Strong early years experience and a deeply nurturing personality, with a readiness to take charge, lead by example, and support your team.

  • Safety First: A strict commitment to following company policies and safeguarding procedures. (Please note: An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role).
