Nursery Assistants - Adel, Leeds

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Providing sensitive care and support to children of all ages, including nappy changing, feeding, and toileting routines.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with room staff.
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
• Adapting to different classroom routines and age groups, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Contributing to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.

Work with a variety of nurseries across Adel:

• Experience diverse settings and age groups through placements at our partner nurseries throughout the city.
• Choose shifts that suit your availability, with a minimum of 8 hours per week (1 shift).

Requirements:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field (or actively working towards a recognized qualification).
• Minimum of 3 months' experience working in a nursery setting (if no formal qualification).
• A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to different environments.
