Recruitment Consultant / Nursery Account Manager
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

We’re Nexter.co.uk, a specialist recruitment agency supporting private day nurseries across West Yorkshire and London. We’re a small, focused team with clear structure and strong momentum — and we’re looking for an organised, people-smart Consultant to help grow our Yorkshire desk.

The Role
You’ll run and grow a busy nursery recruitment desk, working closely with our temps, nurseries and internal team. Your day will be a mix of:
Client Development
- Calling local nurseries to introduce Nexter and book meetings
- Visiting nurseries you’ve built relationships with
- Strengthening existing client accounts and growing usage
Candidate Management
- Interviewing and screening new temp staff
- Building strong relationships with existing temps
- Matching available staff to client needs
Service & Fulfilment
- Taking and filling daily bookings
- Ensuring reliable service to your nurseries
- Handling the day-to-day activity that keeps the desk running smoothly
You’ll be supported by a clear daily structure and a team who know the sector inside-out.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in recruitment, sales, account management, call-handling, or any role where you’ve built rapport quickly
- Strong communicator with emotional intelligence
- Someone steady, reliable, organised, and able to juggle multiple things at once
- Confident picking up the phone and visiting clients
- Wants to grow a desk and be part of a positive, ambitious environment
- Local enough to commute to Birstall (WF17 9JX) daily (this is an office-based role but some WFH is possible)
- Alternate weekly shift system 7am-4pm and 9am-6pm
Early Years / nursery sector experience is welcome but not essential — we’ll teach you what you need to know.
