we need a nursery nurse in Halifax that can provide the early years with education based activites. your responsibiltys will include:
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Oversee playtime, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
- Change nappies, assist with toileting, and meet the children's basic needs.
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
- Observe and document children's development and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the nursery.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures.
requirments
- The most common requirement is a childcare qualification, typically a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field like Early Years Education.
- Some nurseries might accept relevant experience combined with a willingness to gain a qualification.
- A genuine love for working with children and a passion for early years education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A strong commitment to child safety and well-being.
- An Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service check) is mandatory for working with children in the UK.
